Being a high school senior causes a wave of emotions.  Anticipating the future – the thought of leaving home, continuing education or  choosing a career;  it can also bring about feelings of anxiety – fear of the unknown, entering a phase in life, meeting new people and learning life lessons.

For the past 3 years Kayla has been a part of her school band, first as a flag girl and now as a dancer  fearlessly leaping over problems and obstacles.

Meet Kayla, a Senior at WJ Keenan High School. When Kayla and I began planning for her session we knew we wanted something to fit her personality; sweet, over the top and unique. We knew in order to incorporate all of the ideas and locations we would have to work over the course of 2 days. But it was worth it!

This is what it’s all about for me.

To capture not just what she looked like her Senior year, but  to capture her unique personality. It is amazing to see her growth in just the last year…

**Insert Mini Rant

This session with my Senior Rep, Kayla  inspired me to revisit my own Senior Images and  I can’t help but be green with envy!   Shortly after Cash Money took over for the 99 and 2000s, a Young Ariel Enid was prepping for her Senior Photos. I woke early that morning to ensure that every strand of my  flipped layer bob was in place (think Kelly Rowland circa 2003). I’m so embarrased looking back at hose pics!
